ChapmanAlbin LLC Retained By Victims of GPB Capital

Thursday, March 21, 2019

ChapmanAlbin LLC represents New Jersey families who invested in GPB Capital Holdings, LLC at the recommendation of their financial advisor. Our clients lost their retirement savings as a result, while their financial advisor received large commissions for selling them GPB investments.

Back in September, 2018, we warned of our concerns with GPB Capital “alternate investments,” including GPB Holdings LP, GPB Holdings II, GPB Holdings III, GPB Automotive Portfolio LP, GPB Waste Management, LP, and GPB NYC Development LP. Both the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) have launched investigations into GBP Capital, as well as the FBI and numerous state regulators. Since then, new allegations have arisen that GPB is operated as a Ponzi scheme.

According to SEC filings, there were as many as eighty (80) brokerage firms across the U.S. who sold, or were authorized to sell, investments in GPB:
